Parish Vision & Mission Statement

Lycoming Presbyterian Church lives to do three things:

  To introduce Jesus Christ to those who do not know Him;

  To deepen the faith and commitment of those who already know Him;

  To demonstrate Christ's way of love in service to the world.

   To all who would have their lives enriched by worshipping God in the beauty of holiness; to all who are weary and would find rest; to all who would lead a higher and more dedicated life of service to Christ; to all who may be strangers and have no Church home; to all who seek the abundant life; to all who wish to share in the proclamation of the good news of God’s love and redemption in Christ; this Church extends the friendliest of greetings and invites you to worship with us regularly.

Church Night Out

Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at 6 PM, at Springman’s Country Store & Café in Pennsdale.  This outing is a great time to converse with members and friends of our church family, while enjoying good food together.  If you plan to attend, please use the sign-up sheet in the church lounge,  or call the Church Office and leave a message: 570-326-9218.  Thank you.  Hope to see you at this special monthly event.

Wednesday, March 25    Our Deacons play BINGO with the residents of the Presbyterian Home, 7 PM

Food Collection

  The Deacons are receiving monetary donations for the Food Pantry at the West End Community Center, instead of collecting food items.  Please put your donations in an envelope marked Food Pantry.  Thank you.

Gifts of the Heart

  Don’t forget to add supplies that are needed to fill the buckets for the Presbyterian Disaster Project.  We have one bucket filled.  Two more are waiting for items.  There are also school kits & hygiene kits being collected.  These items will be collected in late April or early May.
 Let’s complete the two buckets that have been started!

A Ministry to Those Who Serve Our Nation

    We are supporting Caring for Chaplains and Military Personnel by means of a free will offering.  Our chaplains are truly the unsung heroes supporting our young men & women who serve our country.  They are there to provide comfort, guidance, & hope to those in need.  There is a special basket in the back of the Chapel for your donations & envelopes on your church pew.
